The Croydon City Arrows Soccer Club has a proud history dating back to 1957. It is one of the biggest in the Maroondah District and home to the largest number of female teams in the East. Ages of players range from 5 to 11yrs playing in Small Sided Football through to Junior teams from 12 to 18 years including four girls teams. In addition we have two Senior Men’s and two Senior Women’s teams. Our Women’s South team will be playing in State League 2 South East in 2016. We have a strong focus of promoting a Community based Club taking pride in offering value, commitment and a family-friendly environment at all levels of competition. History shows we have been successful on and off the field. Many previous players have reached higher levels, such as Peter Ollerton, Paul Wade, Jimmy Tansey, Jimmy Rooney, Jimmy Campbell and recently Danny Allsopp all making the National side. Many of these players have become great supporters of the club and are willing to share their knowledge and skills.

The last few years have been fantastic for the club. 2015 saw the Senior Women’s South team finish at the top of the table and gain promotion to State League 2. In 2014, the Senior Men’s team won promotion to State League 3 and went on to win the Premiership in the Finals Series. Nathan Rogers has been appointed as the Senior Men’s Coach for 2016. Nathan has most recently held the position as Head Coach of the Under 18 NPL team at Bulleen Lions.
